Here is a short summary of my life as of now. Mom of 4 boys, ages almost 5-6 months. I am married to Rocky, my wonderful husband of almost 7 years. He is a Captain in the US Army and we got stationed up in Alaska a little over 3 months ago. We live in Eagle River, AK right outside of Anchorage. Rocky is a combat engineer, but I still really have no clue what he does. I a nurse at a local hospital on there mother baby unit. I recently decided to go back to work after being a SAHM for the past three years. It has been good and bad going back to work and I will go into that on another post.
Our main goal when we moved up to Alaska was to get out and do as much a possible. I mean how many people get this opportunity. We have already met some great people and are enjoying our time here.
Below is a picture of my neighbor Lisa, a long lost cousin of mine , Brandi, who happens to live inAnchorage and myself. We went a fundraiser for The Boys and Girls club of Eagle River this past weekend that was a Brew Fest. Our husbands were there too, but somebody has to take the picture :) It was a great time and the 6 of us always seem to have a great and always seem to enjoy our beer. Funny how fun and beer seem to go together. Anyways, it was a great time and great cause. It also was a little time away from the boys to remind us that we are more than just parents and deserve a "grown-up" night every now and then.
